This gave my hair body. It’s purple but yet not purple enough to really make much of a difference in my hair. I use purple shampoo and conditioner. Along with this mousse it was a win.

Four Reasons Violet Styling Mousse For Blonde Hair- Neutralizes Yellow Tones With Violet PigmentI now have gray hair particularly around my face and found this product with a violet base. Not designed to add a color per se. It's designed to tone down brassy, or in my case that slightly yellowish pigment in gray hair. Such fun! I have short, slightly naturally curly hair and used this to help volumize as well as texture and hold my style. It does help to add body to the style, helps to hold and maintain the style, AND adds just a hint of lovely lavender color to the grayest portions of hair. Really like it!!
Be oh so careful when using this - touching the dispenser for a second results in a generous handful of purple mousse that's dense and thick, which may be too much for the average 'do.My longish grey curls enjoyed being perked up by the purple hue, and did not turn purple. I used WAY too much, which normally would result in a headful of crunchy hair - and no. It's soft, smooth, touchable, and tamed as well as any product can tame my frizz-prone hair.Not being crunchyy is enough to give it 6 stars, quite frankly.Really nice product, even if it's overly enthused to come out of the container.
I received this hair styling mousse through the Amazon Vine Voice program.This is a great product for countering brassy or yellow tones on high lift or platinum blonde hair. It also offers volume to fine hair and leaves a good finish. Plus, I like how mousse can be used without a blow dryer if necessary and still offer some extra style to my layered hair.I will add one more thing, using this mousse means I can skip extra toner applications because this product will help preserve my color and in a healthy way or less chemically invasive way. Pretty happy about this advantage!

Cardboard boxes used in product shipments are also 85% recycled cardboard, the printed reclaimed paper used to fill the transportation boxes is 100% made of recycled materials and the packaging tape is recycled paper. Our shipments may not be the prettiest but it’s not our style to spoil the environment to please the eye – beauty doesn’t come in one shape and size, and this applies to packaging, too! -
