Pearly Pastel - 9.12 Light pearl ash blonde

What I liked about this product is that it feels gentler than the stuff I get from the drugstore (L'Oreal, Garnier, etc). I was also surprised that it doesn't smell awful and toxic like the hair dyes I normally use. There was almost no smell, although I still recommend doing this in a place with good ventilation. For once I did not have to hold my breathe ever so often when I'm dyeing my hair. There was also no added fragrance to try to cover up any smell, which is another unnecessary ingredient. Overall I really like how this product doesn't smell overwhelmingly strong or toxic like your typical box dye.It was quite itchy when I was just sitting there, wait for the color to work on my hair. I had to use a hairbrush to scratch my head. I didn't get any allergic reaction or anything but my scalp did feel itchier than the other box dyes that I normally use. Once it was rinsed off, my scalp felt fine.I was definitely disappointed in the color. I know this is a "demi permanent" hair dye but I didn't see much difference after use. It didn't do much to my hair color at all, if any. I was so excited about the "pearly pastel" color but unfortunately it did not work on my hair. I did leave it on for slightly longer than the 15 minutes, but now I'm thinking if I should have left it for 30 minutes. Had this worked for my hair, I would have instantly switched over to this brand. I use about 2 boxes each time, and about 5-6 times a year. I may get another one and give it another go because I wanted this to work so badly. I like not having to feel like I've just inhaled toxic fumes and with this brand, I was so much more relaxed while coloring my hair. I know these box dyes work differently for everyone so I would still recommend giving it a try in case it works for you. You'll like that it doesn't smell as strong as most of the other brands out there. I am giving it 4 stars for this aspect.

This is the perfect color - and I´m not allergic to it. I´m allergic to everything. I find the color stays longer if I use the Four Reasons Color Shampoo- which I am also not allergic to. Glad I found you Four Reasons!

This is basically an at-home toner. It’s a little pricey but so is buying multiple different shades of toner and processing solution. I really like it. I’ve used multiple different shades and haven’t found one I don’t like.
